Default 5.50 Regulars VS 6.50 Turbos & Other Questions

    Which should i play?
    Does it really matter?
I need to move up because im playing way over-rolled. I've already made 350+ profit at the 3.40's.
Ive played probally 400+ SNG's at the 3.40's , i wanted to wait until i played 500 but im starting to think why i even set that goal. I should just be moving up when my BR allows.
Also i withdrew a lot of my BR but still have about 170 on stars. When i move up to the 5.50's or 6.50's i will play them until i go below 100 (which i hope i don't) , is that ok BR managment?
What BI rule do most of you guys follow , 30 or 40 buyins?

Any of you guys play at full tilt? What level would i have to play to clear their $600 bonus.
    How about absolute poker?
Which 100 % up to $600 bonus is easier to clear ? AP or FT?
I'd probally at least have to play the $11's huh?
If so i'll probally give it a few months until i do so because i don't know if im ready for that level yet.
I've played a small sample size of the 6.50 Turbos and they were pretty much the same as the 3.40's just a little tighter.

If you're used to the turbo structure, I'd play the $6.50 turbos since I find the normals on Stars soooo slllloooowwww. Plus the $6.50 turbos give you an extra $9 in the prize pool for the same rake (50c).

For the $6.50s I'd run with 30x buyin, so a BR of about $200. For higher buyins I'd want a bit more than 30x since the play does get a little bit tougher. Personally I think you should drop down if your BR drops below 25 buyins (so about $160) but if you can be sure to be disciplined enough to drop down if you keep on losing then you can stick at the higher level until you have 30 buyins for the $3.40s at which time you MUST drop down.

Can't comment on AP, but the $600 b0nus on FT will take a looong time to clear if you're playing $6.50 turbo SNGs.

Yeah i figured it would. Ill just play the 6.50's for a few months on stars than. I have the money i withdrew in my epassporte still , don't really know why i withdrew it. It was around the time i kept getting disconnected during the bubble and whining about bad beats so i felt safer just withdrawing it instead of tilting it off or letting it waste by playing knowing ill be getting disconnected. That problem doesnt happen anymore though. I can safely load up 4 games and not get disconnected once. Before because of ignorance , knowing i'd probally be getting disconnected constantly i'd still load up 4 games and than whine when i get disconnected on the bubble for 5 minutes.
When i decide to move up from the 6.50's ill deposit on full tilt though to take advantage of the bonus. If i havn't built 600 playing the 6.50's ill just deposit the rest needed from my own money.
    Thanks for the advice.

Personally, I think you'd be better off saving the FT bonus for when you're playing a little higher. Then again, I don't know exactly how many you're playing. Read up on their bonus and make sure you're going to clear it in time before you commit to making the move.

As far as what to play, I've always felt that regular speed games offer more advantages to the skill opponent. My experience with the Turbos is that most players know they have to gamble a bit, so they end up playing closer to correct than is ideal for us. That's just my .02 though - you can certainly get more volume in playing turbos (which I guess means they're probably the better choice for FT play at least).
    I run a training site...
