Seems fine to me. You don't really have position here since the CO and Button are still to act. If you were in the CO or Button I would just flat call, in this spot I think shoving is fine.

flat calling is so bad guys. If you don't re raise AK what do you re raise? QQ+? He isn't folding any ace pre flop but he may if we flat call. Also, what if you brick the flop and he bets? Position isn't much help with 1.5 bets left.

OOP I make it 400 and shove flop, here I just shove pre.

In position, I still think that flat calling is the right play against an UTG+1 raiser with 5% PFR stats. I'm happy to let this go without an A or K on the flop if opp leads the flop (alternatively, if I have a read that opp c-bets frequently, I'd shove over).

No. Pot is 400 on the flop, so betting 300 on flop leaves you with less than a PSB.

Give me some flops where you think just calling is better because I can't think of one.

I just wrote a long reply, but meh, maybe I like flat calling more if the BB is 20 or 30 rather than 50, you may be right, stacks are a bit too shallow to just flat call.
