    Default 18 Player SNG

Is the strategy near the same / exactly the same as a 9-10 player SNG? I played a lot of these at the 1.75 level and did real well , but im started to think about playing them at the 6.50 level exclusivly because of the higher payouts.
    9 Man 6.50
    1st - $27
    2nd -$16.20
    3rd - 10.80
    18 Man 6.50
    1st- $43
    2nd- $32
    3rd- $21
    4th-$10.80

What will be the cons of this switch though?
Obviously the "Pro" of the switch will be the more $ when placing.

    Anyone have any suggestions/input/experience?

Oh yeah forget to ask the most important question i had. Need to get my head out the gutter today..
Is the bankroll requirments still the same as a 9-10 player SNG?
    30 buyins????????

You probably want a slightly higher BR because you'll miss the money more often - meaning greater variance. 35-40 buyins should be fine.

off the top of my head...

    1. Adjust to shorthanded play. This is one thing that can really make you profitable in these 2 tables. You'll have to go through shorthanded play 2 times if you get towards ITM and it really helps if you can open up your range and take advantage.

    2. Bubble play is scarier for most people. Usually its not a big deal if someone in a 1 table tournament goes out on the bubble, but in a 2 table sng people have a lot more time invested and a chance at bigger payouts. Even at low buyins the play usually becomes very tight near the bubble

and variance sucks a little more at the 18 man... be prepared for 10-12 consecutive busts, etc. I am playing alot of 18 mans lately. people do get very tight on the bubble...
