    The Red Sox are basically the Yankees with facial hair and general disheveled-ness.

    those are fighting words.

    If you mean because they have a huge payroll well they have to because they are in the same division as the yankees. The difference is the red sox don't buy washed up past their prime players and pay them wayyy too much. They buy young guys with more promise than skill and pay them waaaaaaaaay too much.

    But it seems to work.
