shaking off the rust, how to deal with this overbet?
So I took the summer off from poker basically cause I had no time with golf and everything else, but now I'm back and after spending most of the 2k i built up last winter I'm essentially starting from scratch 4 tabling 25 nl. (600$ roll) Anyway this hand confused me from the start just cause villain just sat down no reads he overbet preflop on one of his earlier hands, nobody called and this is his 10th hand at the table. What do we think of these types of bets at this level.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Hero ($28.75)
SB ($26.90)
BB ($10.20)
UTG ($25.55)
MP ($24.40)
CO =#A500AF(Villain)/ ($23.35)
Preflop: Hero is Button with T , T .
2 folds, CO =#A500AF(Villain)/ raises to $3, Hero calls $3, 2 folds.
I usually raise in this spot but in this case i didn't want to comit like half my stack with a preflop raise.
Flop: ($6.35) 3 , 5 , 8 (2 players)
Villain bets $6, Hero raises to $25.75, Villain calls $14.35 (All-In).
Final Pot: $47.05
Can I find a fold here?
comments? Is there a better line?
