Default $27 - JJ OOP KQx board, cbet?

    How is this?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) by Hand Converter CG

    MP1 (t1500)
    MP2 (t1700)
    Hero (t1290)
    CO (t1470)
    Button (t1500)
    SB (t1480)
    BB (t1500)
    UTG (t1582)
    UTG+1 (t1478)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Js, Jc.
4 folds, Hero raises to t80, 1 fold, Button calls t80, 2 folds.

    Flop: (t190) Qd, Kc, 8c (2 players)
    Hero bets t100 OK?
I am just another learning player, so read my comments (very) open minded.

It's not terrible, but I don't like c-betting when there are two broadway overcards to my pair on board. In a game I probably play as you did though.

Im usually scurred to cbet when 2 broadways hit with JJ.
In position when checked to i think it's a lot easier.
I guess you gotta find out where you at though.

Agree 100% unless opp is a serial check-raiser

Betting "to find out where you're at" is a bad reason for betting. You bet here because you would like opp to fold a missed flop or because you believe you have the best hand and want to build a big pot, not to "see where you're at".

    True.
I guess what im saying is if u bet out and get raised it's easier than checking and him betting.
Your right though i remember reading in NLHTP betting for information is not a good reason to bet.
My favorite reason to bet is "hmm i dont know what to do here,I bet". Im guessing that's also a bad reasont o though!
