hand one. i figured if he didnt have QQ+, he folds. and, i tried to size the 3bet to discourage AK from doing anything on the flop oop. too fancy for 25?
i know a rock only calls my RR with high pockets, but he thought and thought forever once i ripped it. i thought, i had to follow up the 3bet to have any chance. but, i guess if i am fairly certain he is on JJ or an overpair, i needn't even try. just c/behind and fold at first opportunity?
hand two... i didnt recall him button raising too often to be honest. and, being that he, too, is short, can i really 3bet here? what if he shoves over? at the very least he is committed to push the flop if i check. i think i can get it in on a flop i like anyway, so why not take the flop for cheap?
ISF, i assume you didnt like the raise because it was too big, but he only had about $8 behind, and i didnt like a $2-$3 bet because it gave him room to call, and i lose my equity on turn, if i dont hit good. or, at least, thats what i was thinking. i thought a bigger bet looked more like a bluff and would get called by unpaired overs, too.
correct me again if i am wrong. i thought i played them better than you guys did. so, obv, i have some things to learn here.
