Default Friday night poker at boss' house - winner takes all (hand)

    NL texas holdem

10 players at the start with $40 buy-in, currently 5 players left. everyone started out with 2500 in chips

going around the table in order:

    Seat 1: 10800 (calls 200)
    Seat 2: 4600 (fold)
    ME : (D) 5800 - dealt AdJc
    Seat 4: 850 (SB = 100)
    Seat 5: 2450 (BB = 200)

My boss is in seat 5, playing very tight and I'm guessing would pounce at any chance he get, seat 1 is a younger player and has been loose and aggressive since the start with 9 players and has been getting 2 or 3 suck outs - he is probably getting to me. Seat 4 has just lost a major pot to seat 1.

    POT: 500, To Call: 200, Pot Odds: 2.5 - 1

Well I'm definitely raising here, but the game is getting abit tight with less room to maneuver with the blinds increasing. The question is 3x or 4x the BB. I made it 3x the BB, raising it to 600. Looking back now, that's probably still giving him very good pot odds.

    So:

    ME: raise to 600
    seat 4: folds
    seat 5: folds
seat 1: calls for 400 more.

    Flop:
    Ac Kc Jh

    Pot: 1500

    Seat 1: bets 1000

my initial thought here was oh yes, because I can't imagine him slow playing hands like AK, KK, AA or JJ since seat 1 is always aggressive. however I realize the club draw on the board and I don't really want him to be drawing to that.

Me: raise to 3000 (about less than half my chips left)

Seat 1 puts me all in.

errr wtf? does he have me beat or is he pulling 1 of those moves again? I felt pretty committed there but really, I would have still got some chips to play with if I folded. anyways, I called with the rest of my chips.

Seat 1: Qd Td - straight
Me: AdJc - 2 pairs drawing to a full house or runner runner flush

turn and river helped no one and I got out 5th with seat 1 in a big lead. sick to my stomachs there especially since in my view, seat 1 has been playing crap since the start of the tournament. would you guys have played this any differently?

Also, I make it 800 preflop rather than 600.

Flop lead = his bet, as in he led out into you.
Shove over = All in, as in literally shove your chips in the middle.

    As played you can't fold.

ok yea, I do like that play better.

would have sent him a message if he didn't flop it.

    thanks.

I was destined to lose that one aye?

I would raise much more agressively preflop, at least 1K.
SB is very short stacked, it is very probable he is moving AI, and I dont want to find myself in 3-4 way pot
