Hand1: 77 UTG is a push/fold hand when the blinds get high, with your stack I push it, but it is really close

Hand2: With your stack and the blinds coming up you pretty much have to push any hand that is folded to you

    Agreed and agreed.

    What were the blinds?

At a guess 150 in the first hand and 200 in the second.

I really like shoving UTG lately with something like 77 because I think people assume even before it's really true that you are just shoving before you lose FE and they start making dumb calls with QJ (meh here obv) and 22 and A5 (hooray!)

The only scary thing to me with shoving 77 is how much time we might have invested into this MTT...at 150 I might limp this (which is probably the wrong move)

I shoved TT and JJ mid to early last night in a SNG and sucked out against AA both times by hitting trips and felt really dumb and REALLY lucky both times.

lets assume these are both 1 table SnG's. does my pushing range change?

Hand 1: [email protected], shorty at table, pending reads it's a push/fold.

Hand 2: [email protected], gotta gambol.

STT pushing range? Loosens up a bit maybe.
