Default $16 - KK, surprise card hits

Sorry, I can't remember reads, but how is this?
I think it's too passive and I might have lost a lot of value.
When the ace hit on the flop, I figured it was likely in his calling range and I played it save.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (8 handed) by Hand Converter CG

    CO (t1905)
    Button (t1260)
    SB (t990)
    BB (t1095)
    Hero (t1530)
    UTG+1 (t1815)
    MP1 (t1405)
    MP2 (t3500)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K.
Hero raises to t150, 3 folds, CO calls t150, 3 folds.

    Flop: (t375) 4, A, 3 (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO checks.

    Turn: (t375) T (2 players)
Hero bets t250, CO calls t250.

    River: (t875) T (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO checks.

    Final Pot: t875
I am just another learning player, so read my comments (very) open minded.

I would have bet the flop. I think the problem with checking the flop is that opp can be pretty sure you don't have an ace. If you had AK or AQ you would have wanted to protect your hand on that board. Checking the river is fine imo. The only hand that gives you action on that river would be one that beats you.

I like the flop check. I would c/c the turn also.

I would bet about 250 on flop, shut down if opp calls.
As played you have to check the river after he called your turn bet.

I dont think you missed a lot of value on this hand, mainly because there wasnt a lot of value to be had.
