Default $16 - AQ OOP against tighty, pretty deep

Play this hand, if so how? (preflop)

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) by Hand Converter CG

    SB (t2155)
    Hero (t2710)
    UTG (t460)
    MP (t2610)
    CO (t2770)
    Button (t2795)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, Q.
3 folds, Button raises to t300, SB folds, Hero ??

    Sorry for no reads/stats.
He was 9/2.5 after 70 hands.

Bleh i hate folding though. Is it possible that were ahead of this Tighty's button raising range?
I KNOW i'd shove over someone who had stats similar to mine (18/14) , which is still fairly tight.

I would say its quite likely. He may be tight but that doesnt mean hes incapable of stealing.

I don't think that someone with those stats would be stealing at the 50/100 level. He's also raising into two decent stacks. There's no real need to steal at this point. He could have a weak Ax, but who knows.

I would probably smooth call since reraising would risk too many chips. If he was looser then a reraise might be better. Smooth call allows you to play a smaller pot and look for a good flop.
