JJ, calling reraise PF.

    Default JJ, calling reraise PF.

Here I was just trying to use position to my advantage and called the reraise. How is the flop play? If the check was an indication of weakness/fear of the A, then this is the best chance I have of taking down this pot right?

Preflop is OK readless I guess, if you have a read that opp is a tight player I might just toss it to the re-raise.

As played, definitely check flop, hands like AK/AQ are well within his range leaving you drawing to 2 outs. If the flop had come K or Q high that's a different story; in that case I would play as you did.

You have about 1K behind, you are betting 1/2 your remaining stack that he does not have an A.

If you planned to bet an A high flop you are better off pushing preflop IMO

I would fold preflop every time. You don't have set odds.

Serious? I'm not sure we can put him squarely on only QQ+... isn't this a bit nitty? We have position so can't we see a flop?

^Presume he means fold pre-flop after the big re-raise not straight off. This is an awkward one for me. I think I would probably call pre flop but am hoping for all under cards. Once the A comes i'm shutting down.
