Dunno what im going to play on, either bogogg or i-poker. Ill be MAX 4 tabling and trying to play good.

Do you ever get angry when you play poker?

I dont get angry at losing/winning any particular hand, ive left that stage.
What bugs me is when i make a call i already know i shouldnt or when i dont make a fold i think i should but dont.
What angers me is doing dumb stuff i know i shouldnt when i know better. results, the hand etc are irrelevant.
Ive gone from learning not to care about a hand or money, to now giving a shit about every cent and not doing the things i should because its +ev.

Its almost as if i hate money recently, yet all ive recently done is run bad, then figure out ive started playing bad, stopped, started playing better, figured out i need to just start all over again and now do that.

My biggest issue has been balancing the fact that i dont play more than 18k hands a month, i can play midstakes, and therefore i need to stop looking at stats winrates etc, and just get 3 months of hands in playing poker i know i win with and go from there.

Seems a bit odd, but if i just think less play more i tend to do better...

i seriously hate poker when i am soooo much better than opponents and i have unfoldable hands versus what is dead money essentially and i am always second best.
Sure, i suffer super variance but im a big winner in this game and right nwo i cant even beat it, and i feel like a fish on every table.
maybe i just suck and need to quit and find a hobby that doesnt cost me money every day.

Just spend more time analyzing hands and how you play in certain standard situations, spend more time looking at your PT database and build up really detailed notes on the regulars at your limit (you probably have enough hands), get a cardunners membership if you don't have one already, and stop thinking that you are running bad (even if you are).

cardrunners taught me nothing i hadnt picked up from talking/reading post by good midstakes regs and other stuff is too advanced thinking for the opps i play against regularly.

I got to the point where i knew i was playing bad, i went away sorted that out redisciplined myself and started playing again.

The biggest impact i think is sample size i think, over a good enough sample of 30k hands on AP im a 3bbs/100 winner. Everywhere else is like <5k hands on diff sites where i seem to run bad (enough QQ versus AA/AK loses in HU blind battles to suggest variance and not just spewage)

With the exception of perhaps overplaying AK/QQ versus super tight 3bettors, im playing the right game to beat midstakes non-US sites, so perhaps i just need to step back and mentaly freshen up.
I have an esxcuse to do that anyway as im buying a house/getting promoted the next 2 weeks so ill have more than enough on plate.
