A 2 street bluff

Villain is 23/14/1.5 over a 100 hand sample. Haven't got a real read yet but hasn't spewed. Comments on the whole hand please.

200NL with $210 effective, 5 handed.
2 folds, Villain makes it $6 in the CO and I call with JT OTB. Blinds fold.

Flop: 98A Pot: $14
He bets $11 and I call.

Turn: 9 Pot: $36
check, I bet $26, he calls.

River: 6 Pot: $88
He checks again, who likes a bet and how much?

Both his checks were pretty quick fwiw.

1. I like raising the flop much better than calling.
2. The turn card was not a good one to bet as he is never folding one street anyways, so yes i like a two barrel, and tbh i like $160 on the river.
3. IMO a quick check means i am planning to snap call most bets.

I think he has an ace and he is intending to call most bets.. personally I'd just give up and check behind rather than bluff off more money on a big river bet. He might fold his ace though, but in a situation like this they'll often talk themselves into calling. If I'm reading it right.

Given PF and flop I don't think he believes you have a strong Ace here. The only thing he would be folding to is if he believes you have a 9.

I think either check behind if you dont think he can fold an Ace, or overbet on the river like ISF suggested.

He usually has AT AJ AQ AK, and plans on snap calling most bets. Add in A2 A3 A4 A5 A7, which also call sometimes, and you should not be bluffing this river unless it's a push.

If you have big nuts go all in, if you really feel villain will fold that range often enough. It's high variance, but it may be correct. Table dynamic, your image, and villains emotion all play into this choice.

On thing is for certain. Villains range is very weak to be stacking off.

Don't bet the turn if you're not bluffing the river when he calls. You can get him off his air by checking behind the turn and 3/4 potting the river anyways.

full pot on turn and 4/5 - full pot on any non-A river if you wanna win this hand is best imo

otherwise you re just gonna be hanging yourself vs his JJ-Ax

also I think you need to bluff a J or T river cuz you will have the best hand like never

(this is all from the "win the pot" perspective... nothing wrong with giving up when you don t think he ll fold)
