Default QQ vs. good 2/4 player

How do you play this? Villain has been a good thinking TAG taking ppl's stacks, been at this table for a long time. After he called, I realized I didn't really know what range to put him on... he does have position and is very willing to play in huge pots.

you played this about as cheaply as you can, which is fine here. villains bet size on the river is either for value or he wants it to look like value w/ a smaller PP. Or he could be leveling wanting you to push over w/ QQ/KK here. have you seen him bet this small before?

Yah I agree that checking the flop is fine. Especially if you might also check this flop with AK/AQ.

I think you played it well though.

Is betting 150 or so on the river as a "bluff" thinking a level too low?

I felt this player was betting the flop if I checked, so rather than call a bet I usually prefer to make it, especially after 3betting out of the sb.

Why do we think checking the flop is fine?
If villain bets flop, what is our plan for the rest of the hand?
If villain also checks, are we betting turn and river?

bode: I hadn't been in enough big pots with him to tell yet about bet sizing.
