would a flat call be the worst idea ever?

    I'm just curious.

Calling is definitely worse than pushing or folding. I would fold this, even though I hate doing it.

well how have the blinds been playing? i'd raise and take the pot down there, the extra money will hood your stack up fat

Yes. Fold, and it's not close.

Edit: actually maybe it is close. I'm having a really tough time assigning the BB and SB a range, do they know how tight you should be shoving? Should they be calling wider though because of the huge blinds? Ugh.

BB is screwed if he calls and loses, SB could take the hit but he has BB still to play. I suspect I push here.

Sick spot. That said, I would shove it - the only situation where you finish 4th is that where you get called, UTG's random hand wins the main pot and SB or BB win the side pot. With blinds this huge you can't afford not to steal them.

Just curious...lets say UTG actually had 500 chips and folds. Do you insta-muck AK/most all pairs?

As played I think you have to shove. If one of the blinds pick up a hand, I still like my chances to get 3rd. A random hand (UTG) is in terrible shape against whatever the blinds are calling pushes with. The chances of bubbling should be pretty small
