I definitely fold the river. An unknown is not raising you with worse here.

really? not even KT or 9T? is this really such an easy fold? i like the bet/call with trips.

I think you played this perfectly. I am never ever ever folding this on the river; the only question for me is whether to shove over. You get a lot of players who wait until the river to try to get their chips in the pot with hands like Kx.

I just wonder whether if you shove over, only hands that beat you will call.

I am thinking the same thing which leads me to believe that lead/call on the river is the best play.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

There are a ton of worse hands raising here. Our line doesn't say we have trips. It just says we kinda like our hand more now than we did on a Kxx flop. That could be any pair quite easily.

If you were villain, are you really just calling with 2 pair on this river? Villain could hold any hand if he's ceative enough to bluff in a pot where we certainly look like we're bluffing.

In regards to Tai's shove consideration, I think I agree that the vast majority of hands that call us beat us. I just call here without a strong read.

I bet the flop here, limping from the CO is often a hand like SC or low PP and he will get out if he missed the flop, and if he calls you can still improve on turn or river.

I call the raise on the river, there is no way of knowing whether you are beat or not, he could have 2 pair, 1 pair, str8, trips with better or worse kicker etc...
