usually i would cbet something like 800 here. But if he pushes over the pot will be like 4300 and it will be about 1700 for me to call so ill be getting better then 2:1 odds , so instead of being pot to a decision i just shoved , since shoving SHOULD fold out a lot of non TP , 1 pair hands.

I don't hate this, but typically I would just make a normal c-bet of 600, and probably call a push.

ok if we plan on calling the push though what do we get out of normal cbetting? does a push look weak / cbet look stronger? Won't draws/and non top pairs be more inclined to push over if we cbet but should fold to a shove?
Ughh i guess the shove looked pretty or villian is brain dead (he called with K8)

Meh I don't hate the push, but it looks weak to me. That said, Villain is calling off all his chips on the bubble so you'd think that he wouldn't call without a very strong hand.

Yeah i agree the shove looks weak , and cbet is the norm here for me , out of 800+ SNG's i don't think i've ever made this much of a overbet and is why i posted it , i think the factors that made me switch it up were the size of the pot (1k+) , the fact that if i cbet he might shove over wider thinking he has fold equity , the fact that i will call his push , and ASSUMING (but was obv wrong) that he will fold anything besides TP+ to a shove (even if it looks weaker than leading out with a normal bet) giving im putting his tournament life at stake , while folding will still leave him in decent shape to cash.

Can you assume such things in a 6.50? I know in 3.40s you can't. I don't have this move, but it seems like overkill at low BI. You're chipleader, why not run out the clock? You're relatively deep at BB=200. Maybe I'm too conservative, but given Tai's advice to me (if I correctly interpreted), there's a lot of value in it.

Tai said cbet and he will probally call a shove. Which i agree with but either way were probally getting it all in on this flop. So im not sure what you mean by running the clock down.

    What about CRAI?
I am just another learning player, so read my comments (very) open minded.

Good shove, you are probably ahead and have fold equity.

My goal in SNGs is to get ITM. This move you're making is for the win. I don't see the need to push when a standard cbet will probably do the trick. Chip preservation is paramount to me. Too conservative?
