    No hindsight for the blind.

Default QQ OOP on A77 board (2/4)

Villain runs 32/13/pretty passive (~40 afreq on all streets). No notes on him, and neither of us has done anything in the orbit or two I've sat this session.

Plan was to c/f turn or b/f some river cards (probably something like deuces through eights) if turn checked through. C/F okay on this river?

C-bet size okay? I wanted to discourage a bluff raise and figured if he calls 21$ with a midpair then he probably calls 26$.

    SB $302.40
    BB $358.05
    UTG $396.70
    MP $363.00
    Hero $391.40
    BTN $549.10

    Dealt to Hero : Q Q
    UTG folded
    MP folded
    Hero raised - $14.00
    BTN called - $14.00
    SB folded
    BB folded

    Flop ($34): 7 A 7
    Hero (CO) bet - $26.00
    BTN called - $26.00

    Turn ($86): 9
    Hero checked
    BTN checked

    River ($86): J
    Hero checked
    BTN bet - $68.00
    Hero folded

So you c/f flop or c/c flop to c/f turn? or what against this type of villain?

Yah I agree with massimo, I c/c flop and probably c/f turn if he fires again. Passive player probably won't fire twice on an A high board against a potenially slowplaying PF raiser.

I bet the flop, our range is way too obvious if we don't. I mean it depends on the player, sometimes we want our range to be obvious, sometime we don't. I pretty much play it the same.

not sure why you're worried a passive player will bluffraise you on this flop?

don t wanna always sound insane but CR bluff seems good on this river to me
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Or if we check air... that can be pretty fun to act like we have SD value.

Good point too, i think way too narrowly sometimes.

When we check flop, either with QQ or TPBK/TPMK, doesn't that almost always mean villain can get us of our hand somewhere?

I hate check calling 3 streets and don't think we should very often.

Do we also check TT? 55?

i think not checking this flop vs this player is a mistake.
