Default 10/20 - flopped trips top kicker - passive line

Villain is 19/14/3.9 over ~900 hands, mostly mined. He doubled up recently with KK all-in pre vs. AK. BB is a fish. Obviously I'm looking to balance value from worse queens with value from underpairs and bluffs... thoughts?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Holdem Ring game - Blinds: $10/$20 - 6 players - Converter

    Stack sizes:
    Hero: $2241
    UTG+1: $5035.25
    CO: $2000
    Button: $1103.90
    SB: $2240
    BB: $1250.55

    Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with Q A
Hero raises to $60, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, BB calls.

    Flop: 7 Q Q ($190, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $140, BB folds, Hero calls.

    Turn: 4 ($470, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $340, Hero calls.

    River: 5 ($1150, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $775, Hero raises to $1700

you should bet betting this flop with air a good amount imo

I really don't like this - betting the flop puts air in your range and he will look you up lighter - a competent opponent will not put any more money in the pot without a really strong hand as he knows you aren't c/c the flop with air and there are no draws out there - the only thing I think you may accomplish by C/C rather than betting is if he has seen you make big laydowns and he thinking you have AA/KK/JJ.

In the event he has got QK/QJ then betting is a lot better as I would expect a raise on flop/turn and not sure if the river C/R is getting called by worse - He knows you would probably C/C AA/KK/similar strength hand so when you C/R the river he must know that you have at least QK here.

Btw what do you put him on here that he is betting 3 streets with? certainly not two pair as he must know you are not C/C 2 barrels with worse (I'm assuming if he has 2 pair it is 1010 and below)

A queen or a bluff. I agree that he's not betting the river with an underpair. Because this guy's AF was so high (as were frequencies by street) I thought I'd maximize my value from bluffs at the risk of losing value from worse queens. But in retrospect I don't think that's optimal.

I like this.. gotta let bluffy players bluff sometimes when you have a hand to call em with.
