What tools do you guys use for SNG's? Right now i just have Tournament Indicator , and Poker Tracker (which i havn't used) .
Do you import your SNG's into Poker Tracker?
Do you request Tournament Summaries everytime?
Just looking for other ways to analyze and work on my play.
Not interested in buying any software at the moment yet , but It's probally a good investment to get SNG WIZ or some program like that when i move up levels. What level should i consider buying SNG WIZ ($11?)....

I use Holdem Indicator to get stats on opponents and I used the 30 day free trial of SnG Wiz which I think helped me get a decent understanding of ICM.

Detroit, you should definitely get SNG Wiz or SNGPT. Download the trial of Wiz, it has a 30-day fully functional evaluation period. Even if you have to use your own money rather than your roll it is well worth it.

Is there a way to get Stars results to come up in PT without having to manually import? I use yahoo for mail so I can't auto-import from e-mail. Manual import is a horrible grind if I'm going to play many tables on Stars.

I'd have thought there would be a way to pick up the results from the HH like at Party, is there?

Cool thanks for the info. I've had the SNG WIZ installer sitting around on my desktop just havn't installed it. Keep thinking i wanna wait to use my 30 days once i move up to the 6.50's. Definitly at the 6.50's i will start importing my SNG HH into poker tracker. I also have poker ace heads up display but doesn't that work with poker tracker to show the stats?

Unfortunately not, you have to manually request the tourney summaries, cut into a .txt file then manually import that. It isn't so bad though since you can request (I think) 200 summaries at a time so just do it once at the end of each day.

So you can't get realtime data for PAHUD on stars?

Btw I use the same as taipan, PT, PAHUD and SNGPT. Of course Pokerstove is also a must. I used to have Holdem Indicator and later Tournament Indicator, which I got for free playing at pacific, but after reinstalling my puter I'd need to do it all over again to reactivate the license so I just dumped it. Can't say I've missed it though.

None of these programs work with my site so I'm not using any programs too but I have a question about that..

I'll probably won't purchase any of them because none of them is suited with my site but which of these programs can be very helpful manually? I'm looking for a suggestion something like this.. "Download this program, it's free or it has a trial for 42 days, do this and that, and you will learn a lot"

SnG wiz has 30 day trial, it has manual input and a quiz option so you can take a quiz of random push or fold situations then it tells you if you got it right and how much +/-EV the move is.

Seriously?! How does that work? I downloaded SNGWIZ a few weeks ago, but wasn't going to use it that soon. Why/how would the 30 days start running when you download the demo? I thought it would start once I installed it? Anybody know what the deal is with this?

To keep ya honest? With me and the other guy it's just going to keep us from using it. It would make sense if the count-down started when you installed it, and I really don't understand how it could work otherwise. Isn't there a SNG Wiz rep on this board? I'd be interested to hear from him on this.

30 days after download seems pretty reasonable to me. PT and PAHud have been worth every penny for me...still not sure if I should give in and buy SNGPT/SnG Wiz. Does anyone have a preference between the 2?

I recently purchases Poker Tracker and am using the trial version of PokerAce HUD. I am using the Memory scanner though as it says it will display stats for observed hands. So does that mean you can just observer any random table and it will gather stats for those or do you actually have to be sitting at the table? I messed around with it for a bit, but I couldn't get anything to show up. I went through their tutorial and wizard, but haven't had any luck with observing yet. I haven't played in a few weeks, so am hoping this will help me in the long run multitabling.

Ok, awesome, thanks for letting me know! I've never actually played a SnG, though I've been thinking a lot about it lately, and have been researching SnG software to help me learn the game. I downloaded the SnG Wiz trial and tutorial vid about a month ago now, but have yet to install it. I was worried that I had missed out on my chance to try it. I was going to send u a PM about this thread, but for some reason was unable to find you. Thanks for the info, once I get prepared to actually try playing SnG's, I look forward to trying your software, it sounds like it's the best SnG app available.
