    Default Deep and Marginal

Villain seems to be playing lagg pre and kinda snug and smart post. He's running 26/21.

My guess is that he's calling lots of speculative hands pre in this spot. His opening range is obv pretty wide from CO pre.

    From memory :

    Eff stacks of 440$, nl200

fwiw I'm running 23/19 and haven't been out of line. Haven't done anything spectacular or terrible at the table.

Villain raises to 7$ from CO, I repop to 32$ from SB w

    flop is .

    I bet 50$ into 65 ish (decision #1)

Villain raises to 140. I call (decision #2)

    turn is

I check, villain bets 150$ into 280ish. I have 270 total and would have 120 behind if I called this bet.

    Help plz.

if u 3bet just make it 26- not cause its more/less correct but cause villain will put you on a wider range and so he will be easier to play postflop, cause here im rly not able to know whether he puts you on a big hand preflop a large % which makes his flop raise super-tough to play against.

so really as played i fold flop and hate it.

given ur line preflop though i think check/call flop is best cause we just really, really need to misrepresent our hand on some street this deep oop- so make JJ/QQ the top of our flop check/call range seems like a good place to do it.

    definitely, definitely fold turn.

calling preflop is also not a terrible option here and there are many good players who would advocate it though im not sure im one of them.

I would advocate smooth calling pf. This is a hand where we want to play a medium sized pot so why put ourselves in a difficult decision by 3betting?

As played by calling his flop raise you are effectively commiting yourself when he bets the turn, which will be a large percentage of the time. I think you have to fold and move on.

i fold on the flop. i don't see the point in calling. you have to make the decision on the flop whether you want to play this hand for stacks and it's not good enough for 200BB

actually it is pretty interesting to me gen. I would have played it like sauce.

how can you call someone 3betting out of the sb like that with a mid suited ace? I would consider it a mistake, unless you had a good read on sb and its almost a2c for you.

I called cuz we are deep, I have position, and I think his hand is well-defined to me (prob TT+, AJs+) while my range is probably not very well defined to him
