Hand 1 - what are you doing calling OOP with no antes and an ugly hand? If you think he is stealing preflop, raise his ass. I'd much rather you make it 33-3500 there preflop and then fold to a push rather than call, reraise half your stack and fold.

Hand 2 - It's push or fold depending on read preflop. I don't see how the push can be bad there though.

Hand 1: Either fold pre-flop or call the all-in. If you think his range of hands on the flop is so strong that you have to fold here then fold pre-flop, if you call it's because you think he has lots of garbage in his range, in which case, call here (or re-raise pre-flop). Basically I think you played this hand as bad as possible.

Hand 2: Standard, bad beats forum is down below.

Hand 1 I knew my line already when i called pre. I would have made the same call with 72o. My big blind was being attacked since I was playing so tight, due to the fact i was card dead. When i did pick up hands in LP i never got first in. Standard running bad in MTTs.

I wanted to call and c/r this guys bet. He has raised the button every time he was first in (which was fine since I'd do the same thing to a weak button.)

TBH 3 betting preflop totally passed my mind. I didn't even consider it at that point.. I had this (apparently bad) play in my head once the cards were dealt. I thought if this guy raises my blind im going to call and c/r the flop. I figured that would gain the most due to the fact I would get another 1000-1400 easy chips. Why I didn't think to 3bet pre - idk.

Anyways after he 4 bet shoved I figured i was either against a set or an OP, both of which are killing me. Left myself with enough chips to play. Easy fold. I don't mind my play but a PF 3 bet was definatley better. Meh. Should have 3bet preflop.

In terms of the Jacks hand, ie been running into this situation alot with JJ through KK where my intuition tells me im dominated by AA but i refuse to just muck my hand after getting reraised. A few of the times ive been able to raise with JJ or QQ and just fold after getting moderately raised after opening...I think you could play the jacks slower and take a flop and gauge it from there...i seem to be in the minority in thinking this though so im wondering if anyone else agrees with my view...?
