Default Turned a str8 but villain minraises with 3d's (NL400)

I played 1 400table tonight along with 8 100tables. This quite interesting hand turned up:

    ** Game ID 897049536 starting - 2007-12-25 02:32:28
** Uranus [Hold 'em] (2.00|4.00 No Limit - Cash Game) Real Money

    - khk888 sitting in seat 1 with $74.85
    - MacKel sitting in seat 2 with $41.28
    - jake1981 sitting in seat 3 with $437.52
    - kransfull sitting in seat 4 with $409.68
    - VILLAIN sitting in seat 5 with $704.52
    - HERO sitting in seat 6 with $467.52 [Dealer]

    khk888 posted the small blind - $2.00
MacKel posted the big blind - $4.00
** Dealing card to HERO: Jack of Clubs, Queen of Clubs
    jake1981 folded
    kransfull folded
    VILLAIN called - $4.00
    HERO raised - $20.00
    khk888 folded
    MacKel folded
    2kneelee called - $20.00

** Dealing the flop: 4 of Diamonds, 10 of Diamonds, King of Clubs
    VILLAIN checked
    HERO bet - $32.00
    VILLAIN called - $32.00

** Dealing the turn: 9 of Diamonds
    VILLAIN checked
    HERO bet - $96.00
    VILLAIN raises - $192.00
HERO?? (ca 320 behind, villain has hero covered)

villain had been quite active at this table, running about 30/15/3. He had minraised preflop a couple of times, but didnt seem totally donkish. He had never been caught bluffing, but had floated(?) other players a couple of times in position.

I had not gotten out of line, running about 18/16/4. Sample size only 100 hands at this point.

I assign his range to be flush, air, set somewhat unlikely (he should be scared of the third diamond), maybe 1pair/with nutflush draw, maybe straight.

Whats my best play here? (if this is totally standard i apologise in advance... )

I'll be really intrigued to see what the regs say about this one.

I either shove or fold of course, but i guess it should be said.

I mean your hand beats most anything this guy thinks is the nuts but isn't, maybe he has KdJ, who knows, his line only makes sense for a Ad-Qdxd, and thats such a thin range. I don't feel very good about it but i put it in.

This is a pretty gross spot.

For 100bb's I think I'm stacking here, the question is just how.

Given that we have position, I honestly don't mind a flat call of his min c/r that much. If he's behind, he's drawing to about 8 outs and if he's ahead he's for sure calling our push anyhow.

I don't mind a balance between calling the raise and calling any river bet on a non-diamond river, or just pushing on the turn. Either way I'm stacking here for about 100bb's.

If we had better reads on how fishy he was... and if he'd call our push with a bare diamond/two pair/top pair, then I'd lean more towards pushing over his turn raise.

Sorry but no more reads... that's the beauty of multitabling...

Well, after have timebanked i decided to call turn and call a non-diamond river, a card pairing the board would be borderline...

** Dealing the turn: 9 of Diamonds
    VILLAIN checked
    HERO bet - $96.00
    VILLAIN - $192.00
    HERO called - $192.00

** Dealing the river: King of Hearts
    VILLAIN bet - $160.17
    HERO???

...not excactly a dream card... but his betsizing is weird...potodds is sweet...

When did you start playing 2/4?

Anyway, tricky spot, looks flushy. Do you really think he might have air on turn? If so, I guess you're priced in to look for a bluff/split/something retarded on the river. Doesn't really look like he's trying to make you fold, though. I don't know, villain's name doesn't ring any bells (lol you forgot to replace it pre-flop).

Well, I don't play 400... I just sat at the table cus i know one of the players. Also- i dont think i have revealed villains name in the hand history... as for the hand i timed-down... and called - he showed 87o.
