I check on the turn and see what he does. If he bets big I fold, if he bets small I call and peel off a river card.

Yeah but the board is way too drawy too check the flop. 3-9, J, D and A are all potential scare cards and unless you plan on c/fing you need to bet this flop.

Yeah but we have TP second kicker. If we had T2 or something like that I could see the case for checking. If you had AT here would you not bet? KT isn't that much different?
