Default Stars VPP celebrations, 2008 goals

So, I figure we might as well pat ourselves on the back on a good year, and shoot for higher goals next year. I played about half the year and just got supernova last night, very pleased to make it with time ticking down. yay me!

Next year I'd like to get to 300,000 vpp to grab a couple of the bonuses, and also just to be playing more and consistently well.

anyone close to making elite this year? shooting for it next year?

its funny, I feel less motivated without a silly vpp goal to shoot for. I need to set some weekly $$$ targets or something.

Congrats for making Supernova! I made it about a month and a half ago and it's pretty sweet since it comes out to about 34-35% rakeback for me in bonus value.

From what I've seen as far as threads on 2+2 about it, it may not really be worth the trouble. Almost every single person who tried to get it in 2007 expressed serious regret about it at one point or another.

Obviously I'm nowhere close at my lowly 100nl and soon 200nl, but it's something to think about.

what would it take at 400nl 6max hands-wise?

yeah I read that thread too spoon, I think that was mainly dominated by leatherass's woes. He started in April so he had a lot less time to do it in. If you are a 400 or 600nl reg like ISF I would think that shooting for elite would be hugely profitable with a 42% increase in FPP's. But it is basically a 2 year committment, and I can see someone like ISF moving up to 1000nl where there are fewer games so table selection is harder making it tough to play optimally on one site.

I'm still a bit confused why 6max pays fewer vpp/hands based on your graphs spoon-- kinda frustrating. You play ring, so thats a pretty sweet %.

how many vpp did you hit isf?

This year I've collected 194, 320vpp. For the past month or so I've been solely concentrating on the $2,000 bonus.

    Hoping for 300k next year.

why is it a two year commitment?

And also, with the ability to 20 table now i bet it wouldn't be as hard. Supernova Elite is just way too awesome.

Well, you work for it in year 1 and presumably late in the year achieve it. I'd imagine you would want to profit from the effort in year 2.

20 tabling? how can you play cash 20 tabling effecitively. I cant see better than 12, maybe 15
