a couple $11 full tilt hand histories for review

I've just started playing poker again after about a years break and played my first $11 sngs (played $6 before) at pacific and did ok, but moved to full tilt mainly so i could use the tournament trimmer on this site, but also because pacific docked most of the money in my account after my inactivity. I found full tilt quite a bit harder than pacific and finished my first 3 or 4 tournys OOTM before finally finishing first in my last one.

Anyway if you guys could point out my some of my stupid moves it would be much appreciated, cheers!

First tourney:

Overall it seems you got pretty cold carded in this tourney.

4. K3o - I don't like this standard raise with only 11x BB. If you want to play, you should be shoving it (and I wouldn't). Just fold it and wait (hard to do I know since you've been card dead).

5. AJo - unlucky to split the pot, you should have doubled up here, oh well.

6. A8o - I would have waited for a spot to open push. In this case the guy had crap but in many cases you won't fare so well against an UTG raiser's range.

Second tourney:

Overall I thought you played this pretty well, just copped some unlucky hands, nothing else you could have done really.

1. ATs - I just check the BB preflop and see a flop since we will be first to act on the flop if we're called, and at a $11 tourney it is likely that both will call. I don't want to build a big pot with a marginal hand like ATs when we will be OOP postflop.

2. 72o - I think you played this fine.

6. Q6o - I think betting is good here, particularly since you raised preflop, but you can bet a little less (like 300 or so) and hope that opp calls or shoves over.

7. 88 - I would reshove this preflop rather than just flat call. You really don't want anybody else in the hand other than shorty.

10. A8o - if you are going to raise this preflop, then raise enough to put the short stack AI. Personally I would just check it though. Flop is fine.

11. 88 - this is fine, just unlucky to run into a monster hand.
