Had no read on either players. With the second hand should I be suspicious of the large overraise? Often I find it turning out with a monster hand.

First hand is fine I think unless you have a read that SB is super tight. Another option would be to just flat call the raise and get it AI on an undercard flop, but the problem with this is that you get pushed off the best hand quite often if overcards come on the flop and opp throws out a c-bet.

Second hand I don't like, since you have position postflop I would just flat call the 11x BB (?!?!?!?) raise and get it all in on an undercard (or set obv) flop.

The reason I don't like flat calling the second hand is its 1/6 of our stack to see a flop, at this point I'd rather get it AI or fold it. I understand the justification for the smooth call although what do we do if a K or Q flops (obviously we shut down with an A).

We flop all undercards or a set about 60% of the time, obv we get it in if this happens.

If overcards flop, it depends on the flop texture. Axx and KQx flops I would probably c/f, Kxx or Qxx flops I would probably c-bet 1/2 pot. Because blinds are 10/20, even if we have to give up after a c-bet we still have lots of BBs.

It's not really an opportunity to cbet since we are not the pf raiser, and we are in position so he will most likely have cbet already. I don't think a fold is all that horrible here given the size of the raise (I think it is def preferable to shoving) but I like calling and getting it in on an all undercards flop best.
