    Default $30+3 88 in SB

Oppo. is loose, but this raise threw me for a loop. I think he could have AA all the way down to 2-7 just because he thinks it would be funny. play here or wait for a better spot.

Wait for a better spot. It's BB 30. 88 should only be played for set value IMO and were not getting the odds to do so.

And only being played for set value i mean in the early levels when still semi deep.

This kind of sucks cause he could have worse if your read is good making you most likely ahead of his range but he won't call a raise with worse or like AK. If you call, then a lot of flops can be scary. I just feel gross folding a better hand. I let this go though with that big of a raise.

Yeah, unfortunately you have to fold here, you don't have odds to play for set value. Sucks to have to fold a good hand to what looks like a very donkish raise when you could well be ahead, but I don't see an alternative here. You probably don't have much FE against this donk and I don't particularly want to be flipping against his QJo this early.
