Default Did I do something wrong here (6.50)

    Was this hand played right?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

2 folds, Hero raises to t300, 2 folds, BB calls t200.

I like 250-275 preflop at 50/100 blinds, keeps the pot a bit smaller.

As played, I call too. Usually this kind of flop overbet (putting you AI) is a hand that doesn't want a call like a draw or Jx. If he has something that beats us, I pay him.

What is your read on your opp? Do you respect him or do you think he is likely to make silly moves? If you have some respect I think it is a fold. If he is a bad player, and A rag is in his calling range pre flop, I think you can call.

In the Moshman book there is a place where it is said that you gotta know the main purpose of your bets. Pre flop do you consider your bet as a steal raise or as a value raise mainly? If you consider it as a steal raise mainly, it can help your decision to fold.

It is a very much read dependent decision imo.

    He doesnt mean it,
