Played fine. If fish will chase those odds then he'll lose money and hopefully your friend will be in position to take advantage of it. That turn call was atrocious.

I agree with bjs, this was played fine. I also like the check behind on the river.

BTW you should not post the results of the hand, that can influence people's answers, you should edit the post to remove everything after Hero's check behind on the river.

I dont think so, unless your read is that he's such a chaser that he'd call that. Your friend has about 1000 chips behind and the pot is only 620, so pushing here is going to scare off all bar the very worst flush chasers. The bet he made was good to extract some value.

I am the friend karnouk is speaking about. Thanks for the pieces of advice. After the showdown i really thought I should have gone all in, taking the pot now or at least putting all my money as a favorite as I was now crippled wi only 500 remaining wi blinds going up.

I finnaly got bubbled out, but opp play was so terrible (4 bad plays in a row) that it worth it
