Default 6 max 5.50 Another TPTK

    A friend played this hand.
Is the flop line over aggro?
Is the pre flop raise good this early in the tournament?
We got a little debate there

I am a the friend who played that hand.

I am so convinced I had to raise it PFR but it might be a leak. On those 6max with a slow structure which are closer to cash game I feel i win money raising such hands PF and getting called by dominated hands more often than losing money to AQ+ JJ+.

I am curious of what you people think about my flop line.

I am still quite a beginner and here to learn, so thanks for all your advices!

HH is hard to read, but if you raised, then were re raised by button limper, you have to play AJ very carefully if at all and cannot go broke on this flop.

Preflop: I would just check the BB because if you want to raise, you need to raise to at least 150 to try to thin the field, and I don't like the idea of building such a big pot when we are potentially OOP postflop.

Flop: Assuming that the button limper just called your raise rather than re-raised, I think flop is fine. At this level you get min re-raised by all sorts of hands that you beat including KJ/QJ/JT, underpairs like 88, hands like A9 and even complete bluffs.
