I posted this in FR originally, but only got one reply in a week. I modified it after more experience and reading Renton's FR notes. I'm playing at stars.

I have only played maybe 500 hands of FR, but 400K hands at 6max from 10nl to 600nl with 100nl being my best hourly rate. Trying out 100NL FR on stars where I recently got supernova. Spoon's numbers showed higher Rakeback% AT FR and lately the 6 max table selection is a lil weak on weekdays, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

(Sidenote: Why is Omaha such a better vpp/hand? Cuz of all the limping makes it reach max almost every round? My rakeback is like 50% better in Omaha... doesn't this make it one of the best games to play because of the low rake? if you are SN or SNE, its huge RB.

I also read Renton's reasons to play FR as opposed to 6max. The reasons sound good, but my game is sooooooo dialed in right now to 6max.

So far my observations of FR vs. 6 max, please let me know what I have wrong and/or might be missing.

- Easier decisions overall. With more players, everyone is playing a narrower range save some fish. It makes it easier for me to read opponents' hands and play well vs. their range, while I can throw screwballs they don't expect.

- 3 betting is the nuts, way more easy to abuse people than in 6 max

- Bunch of Nutcamping nits, but not many regs. I thought it would be easier to play a lot of tables, but since everyone is so nitty I end up having to pay attention in order to steal a lot of small pots.. where in 6 max I can often focus on a big pot game with all the aggression flying out

Not really the players so far I like -- super tight, weak. Not spewing a ton.

- Often possible to be picky about which seat I have. This is nice

- There's a lot more situations where there are multiway flops and multiple players will call. Betting strongly on flops is needed more frequently, e.g. $5 into a $4 pot.

- A lot more limping, so you can get dead money in the pot with a healthy raise and steal a pot with a cbet. Often only set campers will call or AK/AQ, and if you're not stacking off with one pair you can punish them by firing two bullets

- Players don't seem as accustomed to blind thievery as 6max, i.e. button/co steals ranges/how to play in the blinds, 3betting from the blinds... a lot more people using the "check/fold" box in BB

ok, so I probably screwed up and missed a bunch and have some wrong ideas, but what are some adjustments I need to make?

So far my results are like -1bb over 1k hands. Not much going on, just slowly dwindling chips to nits
