Default AKs in $5.50 game. Large bets taking place.

After the turn I figured it was either all-in or fold. I folded the better hand, but should I have played this any differently?

Any reads on the UTG raiser, is he aggressive raising a wide range or pretty tightish, have you seen him raise junk from anywhere.

I can't see many hands we're beating if he's a solid player only AQ/JJ. He could obviously be bluffing bigtime but I reckon I shut down as you did with his second barrel. It's actually a tough one I'm not overly sure what I'd do.

I shove pre for following reasons:
    1) There is 450 + 225 = 675 in the pot = 22% of your stack
    2) You have a lot of Fold Equity. He will not call you without a very good hand, so often you will win 22% of your stack without contest.
    3) You are way ahead of his raising range and probably also of his shove calling range. So getting it all in is good, because you get it in as a favorite most of the time or win the pot without contest.
    4) You want to see all 5 cards with AK.

As played I raise the flop to 3*x his bet, so 1350ish and then shove the turn.
As played I shove the turn and feel good about it.
You have TPTK, which is very good and you are ahead of a lot (Kx, Ax, draw, pairs).

Villian had been pretty loose with his raises pre-flop, but played a lot better post-flop. He showed 99 after the hand was done. It was the fact that I didn't believe him to be bluffing that hurt me. I took a look at him in Sharkscope and he's a pretty bad player, so I figured his bets must mean something.

Hummm.... All in here...... Matties........ It would be interesting to see what others think. I tend to be very conservative on my all-in moves when I'm the chip leader betting half my stack or more. I just want to conserve my chip stack, and in this case I'm up against a guy who can take me out. It would be interesting to hear what others think of this move.

It's not like he is commited (pre).
You have a lot of Fold Equity and a monster.

Yeah, Your right, My starting hand is a great hand, and yes I do want to see the pot. I just get worried about losing me chip lead in those types of situations and then shut down. I've been thinking about it for a while now, but I'm thinking you are probably right.

Definetly push preflop, you should have fold equity and its a great spot since you said they have been aggressive. When its 6-handed AKs is a huge hand

Your flop raise isnt even 3 times the bet...your hand is probably good but you want to protect it. Making a standard raise pot commits you, so I like pushing the flop since its such a draw heavy board

    basically everything matties said

Its early here still. My only comment is that theres no way you should be left making decisions on the turn here. Whether you get it AI PF, on the flop, or fold the flop, we shouldnt be playing a line that leaves us thinking on the turn.
Just dipping my toes back in.

Agreed... as chip leader or not, especially if I'm multi-tabling, get it AI PF.

Easy all-in preflop for me too.

All in pre. As played, NO MIN RAISES ON THIS FLOP! Shove the flop.
