SB was tight regular and BB was 39/28ish.
What if we had no reads on the blinds?

I am raising to 150 here every time, regardless of reads. If the BB is as aggressive as you say you may want to bump it up to 200 to make him commit a big amount of chips to re-raise.

I raise it up every time, there's no guarantee that BB will auto shove over.

yeah the only read I can come up with you might open fold on is if you somehow know they never re-raise or call with worse Kx, Qx or other sc types, but will always re raise with PPs and Ax. Since I do not believe that person exists, I would raise.

I will say it's a crappy spot because the stack sizes set you up to get check raised on the flop a lot if you get called, and getting re raised or shoved over also sucks. But not enough to give it up
