    Default Have to brag (lc)

On the advice of Jack Sawyer I've just started multi-tabling the $11 normals on PS. I'm just playing on my laptop atm, so a 17" screen. Wasnt sure how many games I could fit so I started 4-tabling, but tonight I decided to have a go at 6-tabling. Worked fine (smaller tables than usual, but no problem keeping track of things). So I kicked off 6 games basically at one time, made it ITM on all 6!! . Off the top of my head I only remember one real suckout to do so (66 AI pre v's KK on my last bubble hit a 6 on flop). Heck, I think I hit 3 or 4 quads for the night. So cool . Heck, I dont even know how many I won, so much was going on, need to check my emails now. I'm fairly sure I only got one 3rd though .

Hmm, some basic sums, I made a 32% profit on my BR (my whole BR, not just my buyins for those games)!

After checking my cashier balance, leaping around the room asking my wife to guess how much I won, I eventually figured I should pass on my results .

I'll be posting a bunch of hands and a tourney later for comment.

Well done, increasing your BR by almost one-third in one set is fantastic!

Only one of the seconds am I dissappointed in, was my last game and I think I got impatient.

Very cool! I have a laptop with 17 inch widescreen monitor. Specifically bought it so that I could 4 table Party in the day. Never got to the point where I feel comfortable with it until now. Was the transition to 4/6 tables difficult? I was thinking of moving up to 2 tables, I don't want to overwhelm myself, which is what happened before when I tried 4 tableing. (of course I wasn't much of a player then, and I was just trying to clear bonuses).

I too have had a great winning streak recently. I increased my bankroll 67% this weekend, one tableing the $5.50 game. Of course my bankroll was only $80. But, this is your brag........... Congratulations, that is a great run, especially since you just started 6 tableing.

    Nice, good job!

Not a big change from 4-6, but was a big change from 2-4. At two or three tables I'm getting really good reads on most players from the word go. At 4 I really only notice the real standout players (which tend to be the idiots) until we're down to more like 4-5 handed, and even then its only memorable moves and who's abusing position I tend to notice. This means my moves become a lot more mathematical rather than read based. Going from 4-6 didnt really change that all that much. As mentioned in the experiment thread, most moves, especially early are pretty automatic.

congrats! I've been thinking of moving from 4-6 at the dollar tables...but on my tiny bankroll (started with $25), I better keep with the four tables until I can handle that jump.

gj! do u overlay your tables or tile them when multitabling? im on a 22 in widescreen monitor and even 2 games at once feels tiny to me when im tiled, i cant imagine how small 6 games would be tiled on a 17in monitor.

Somethings going wrong there then Daddy, unless you play somewhere other than stars and they have particularly big tables. That or your resolution must be small.

The standard stars table size fits two up and two accross with extra space on my laptop monitor. I shrink the tables to about 2/3 their size to fit 6 with three across and 2 up.

I always tile. One way I keep on top of the action is to use the preset action checkboxes a LOT, rather than only react when its my turn on each table, so I'm constantly on the lookout for new hole cards on any table.
