    Default Interesting $30+ Rebuy Hand

30+ Rebuy on Donkey Fish Poker

    Hijack (Villain) 8,000
    Button (Hero) 5,600
    BB 7,000

The blinds are 75/150 maybe 25 anti's I forget. Villain and Hero have been trading aggression. Villain is a smart thinking player. This is the first time I've seen villain limp MP. My read is that he's doing it because he wants to play a marginal hand and knows I'll 3 bet his raise often. Villain limp for 150. Hero makes it 600 to go with..

    .:Kc: :Qd:

BB calls fast, but is a donkey loose fish who I care nothing about. He would simply push all in with a hand ahead of me preflop here. Villain thinks for a moment and calls. Pot is 1600.

    The flop comes:
    :Kh:

    BB Checks, Villain bets 1200....

How do we play this and why? What are we putting villain on?
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

hmm, call and let him semibluff the turn seems nice. You'll have to fold a heart turn though, and sometimes pay off 5/7.

Interesting to see what BB does too.

BB folded on the flop. Inconsequential. Villain is also smart enough to know I continue on this board enough when checked to, and will call off his stack with a flush draw if I push.

I think it's interesting that we are never really considering the range ahead of us here. So we're dealing with fold equity we don't want, or fold equity we don't have.

Thx for the reply Johnny. Villain had 89h. I jammed the flop and he hit his flush. Turns out villain was favored. I think I should have called flop and jammed a blank turn. Apparently that was the best option.

I dont think you'll be able to get away from a TP against an aggressive villain. I like both busto's line as well as just getting it in on the flop.
