    Default $16 - 42o easy call, right?

Villain was a multi-table tag. But in this spot getting almost 3:1 there is no hand I could fold, right? Not even the second worst heads up hand.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (4 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG (t1515)
    Button (t3400)
    SB (t1575)
    Hero (t7010)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4, 2.
UTG raises to t1465, 2 folds, Hero calls t865.

    Flop: (t2480) 4, 5, Q (2 players)

    Turn: (t2480) 8 (2 players)

    River: (t2480) 3 (2 players)

    Final Pot: t2480

He almost went all-in PF, why do you call with 42o ? I would wait for a better spot to kick one of the small stacks out. Your stack is still pretty healthy too. I personally see no reason to call here.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

he is all in... maybe I used the converter wrong... his ante has to be substracted

You need to call 865 into 2465 pot, so you are getting 1:3, it is now a matter of ranges, if you think he is doing it with ATC it is correct to call, if his range is tighter it may be a mistake

Checked the numbers. If opp shoves as wide as top 16%, this call is +EV. Since he has 2.5BBs and will be in the BB next hand, I think it is fairly safe to assume he is pushing wider.

Call seems standard to me since you've run the ICM; I'm pretty sure he's shoving pretty wide here and most likely wider than 16%.

The other interesting play IF you back yourself to pwn the bubble would be to fold this to keep the bubble alive. Both Button and UTG would be in the blinds on your button, you can shove liberally onto them knowing that they'll call very tight because of the short stack (SB in this hand).

from pure chip EV point of view it is indeed correct to call unless he is very tight, thanks for running the numbers lostterm

pure chip ev makes this an even easier call. In that case he would need to shove >14% to make this -EV.

After drmcboys reminder, I'm somewhat with Taipan here. If hero has been, or is confident of, pwning the bubble, then its fine to fold here as a -cEV move, in order to build our stack even more bullying the bubble.
Just dipping my toes back in.
