This hand is kind of crazy. I make a loosish call preflop because we are deep and I will take my postflop chances. I don't do this OOP so if I were in the blinds then I fold easily. Flop is a pretty darn good flop but I don't want to be driven off my hidden hand so I check behind. Turn is a blank but I am hoping he has a set or overs in which I have huge implied odds. River is really great for me as I am 99% sure I have him beat no matter what. He checks and I puke (was hoping he'd bet I raise and he pushes). I obviously have to bet. I value bet just over pot hoping an over or any T calls here, as well as letting any sets or even bluffs RR thinking I am trying to steal this. I run goot.

Okay raised the previous hand and make the same 3x raise from UTG with a nice sort of disguised hand. I could and probably should open fold but what the hell hehe. Get one caller which I'm not overly unhappy about, yes I'd rather have the blinds but if your going to mix it up, you may aswell play a pot. Anyways the flop gives me a gutshot, I don't cont bet which is my mistake here, the turn gives me more outs with an OESD and I decide to bet it, the flat call from Todd rings many alarm bells. The river pairs my 7 and I'm now torn as to what he may have, he bets the river kind of smallish pot wise, almost as if to want a call. I'd convinced myself at the time to make a hero call, but wisely folded he had me bazookered, I reckon lol

Here is me running really good again. It's 5 handed excluding Jack and I think most are playing kind of tight so I open up with a decent hand. Flop is obviously huge for me. I bet this hoping villain thinks I am just trying to take the pot down with a cbet. He calls and my plan goes into action. I check to induce a bet. A lot of hands are betting now, even flushes but I have the As so am not too worried. He does bet, so I CRAI because I don't want to see anymore cards. I'll take the big pot down now or if he calls and I am behind, I still have equity.

Kmind is playing loose, I figured I'd try to take this post flop. My call on the flop and bet on the turn represents a made flush but he's having nothing off it.

Another raise from Todd, flat call from Bjs havent seen much of that, likely middlish pair I think a high pair he may perhaps flat call but more likely raise. The flop is pretty draw heavy anyone with a 9/10/spades 8J/78/JQ etc is going to be rather happy. Bjs bets the spade turn, Todd shoves I reckon nut flush - AJ spades my bet.

Standard, but the ATx flop worried me, almost didnt c-bet it.

Bjs raises pre, he's been pretty quiet but is now shortish. I call in position hoping to see a ragged low flop kind of board, doesn't work. Bjs cont bets and I fold as he more than likely has an ace.

th shoves from Button, I'm sitting with AJs in SB and after some thought, he's got an M of just over 7 and although he could be doing it with AQ/AK perhaps even a monster, I'm not bad against a fairly wide range, stuck a few figures into stove my AJs vs a range 22+,A7s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,A7o+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo. I'm 57% to win against that range so I think it's a good call, mind that's certainly an area I need to improve on.

Try another steal, oh well it didn't work.

I feel taipan is trying to use late position and steal so I 3bet him because I have been very tight against him the whole game, as well as barely 3betting in general. BjsAust said he folded the same hand I believe so I am really happy with the results.

Stack's dwindled a bit but well still ok with blinds at this level. Todd repops Taipan's early raise, really impressing me Todd

Kmind: I really think this is too loose, I can see you're a shorthanded cash game player but in SNGs this sort of play can be very expensive. Nice postflop play though!

Hand 53 - Bjs: Given how loose Todd has played before I think calling is OK given you have position and it's unlikely anybody else will come along. I definitely fold the flop though, against a player like kmind you want to flop a decent hand and win a lot of chips, not float.


Hand 65 - Bjs: I think you could have made it 250 to go here, but it probably wouldn't have made any difference since the player likely to call you (kmind) has already folded.

Hand 69 - Skeeno: I definitely c-bet the flop after raising preflop. That is a safe-ish flop for you, I think you give away the pot by not c-betting (although Todd might float you and try to take the pot away on the turn).

yeah, in the heat of the moment cbetting is def. scary. But sometimes you just have to realize that both players are nervous in the hand and both want their chips, the key is to make them puke first.
