Default 66 flops second pair HU, opp overbet shoves ($27)

This was the third time that opp had open overbet the flop after having called a preflop raise, the first two times no hand had been shown down.

    Call or fold?

He's already done this twice? As soon as I saw that flop I would have my mouse positioned over the place where the call button comes up and I'd be clicking it several times per second.

I'm actually pretty happy about calling all in here

Third time in how many hands? Has he shown down TP or better in any hand HU?
Just dipping my toes back in.

Third time in about 15 hands. The two hands he showed down were a straight when I had 2 pair and middle pair which I also had. None of the hands where he overbet had been shown down.

Hmmm, sometimes when I see this I tend to think its a donk whos seeing a lot of flops and then pushes whenever he hits hoping to get a weaker player to call. Probably heard theres some book recommends pushing because sometimes people call.

On the other hand, if he's shown down a straight and a middle pair that makes it less likely he's pushing with hands that beat you. Looks more like some kind of ridiculous over-bluff.

Given your stack size I am calling it everyday, you are ahead more often then not

based on stack sizes and your read I think this is a pretty easy call. I wouldn't be surprised to find he has a hand with a 4 or 2 in it, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he flips over AA.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.
