Default 2 hands for comment ($22)

    Hand 1

This ones really a question of hand strength. I flop a BB special with a gutshot to a straight flush. How good is my hand here? Obviously I'm calling the flop bet, but is this hand worth raising at this point? On the turn I hit my flush, but not the straight flush, so its kinda weak with the highest in my hand being an 8. I want to size a bet here to get value from non-flushes, to deny odds to anyone with a single club in their hand (higher than mine), and yet not go broke if theres a higher flush out there. Thoughts?

    Hand 2

Ok, this one I'm posting as both an example of something I think might be a leak, as well as specific feedback on this hand. Villian is running 46/0 with a flop aggression factor of 8.

In general I tend not to c-bet a board with no broadways, I think a lot of players raise here assuming they're picking off a c-bet. Is this a leak?

In this hand, given villians high flop aggression factor, is a fold correct here? If not, whats my best line as played? Does his 46% VPIP mean its more possible he hit himself?

Hand 1 - I think your flop play is fine, I wouldn't lead here either and you have to call the donkminbet. On the turn, I'd make it 200 since that's enough to deny odds to anybody with a single higher club but allow you to get away a bit more cheaply if the action explodes after you.

Hand 2 - I would definitely c-bet the flop here for 140 or so, against an aggressive player like this checking the flop is tantamount to giving up since you know he'll bet. He'll fold or call more often than he'll raise IMO. As played unfortunately you have to fold it.

Hand 1 I agree with Tai on both streets, however on hand 2 I think the check is ok if you have seen villian raise what looks like C-bets from other players.

I agree with the amount; pot control and value are additional reasons for the sizing beyond just protection. Betting too much scares away the hands you beat yet it is pretty much impossible on that board to scare out higher flushes.

Hand 2 I think it is close between cbetting and check folding. Generally I would cbet that board against a loose caller preflop.

Check raise the flop in hand 1. Opponents are showing weakness, and you have a big draw. As long as you would do the same thing with Qx, you're fine.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
