I assumed both went hand in hand but I have read a couple of articles that talked about compromising one for the other. Can someone please explain?

Probably you saw someone talking about playing turbo SNGs vs regulars - you might have a lower ROI in the turbos, but if you end up playing more because they go faster you'd make more money. | |

Yes what ^ he said & maybe dealing with amount of tables. Less tables = higher ROI , but in a lot of people less tables = less hourly $$$. | |
