    Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is UTG+1 with A J
UTG folds, Hero raises to $4, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

    Flop: 3 J 9 ($17, 4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12, 2 folds, SB raises to $33, Hero ????

Villain seemed a bit of a calling station. Was 30/4/4. Calling the raise will leave with the obligation to call/push turn as the pot will be too big. what do you do here?

To me it seems if he's a calling station then he would have either 33, 99, or J10, JQ, or KJ. Its hard to tell since his post flop aggression is low. With him not reraising preflop I doubt he has AA or KK. QQ is a possibility since he is a passive player, he may have wanted to see if an A or K came on the flop first before getting his money in. My guess is that you are ahead here.

I dunno... It seems to me that a 30/4 could easily play JJ+ like this, thinking that it's a great idea to slowplay aces.

But given his AF of 4.0, he might just be making a move, tryin' to chase out a c-bet. He might also play KJ like this.

    TPTK...so villain dependent...sigh...

Fold and watch his flop 3-bets more closely. It's not worth a call without a good read.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

$12 flop bet doesnt sound to me like a hand defining bet. i'd bet around the pot and fold to his big raise.
