"Too early" is a misnomer, if I can gamble 50-50 for my stack on the first hand, I'll do it. If you don't like that idea then keep folding.

MP's raise is curiously small. I'd expect to see QQ+ here a lot. Doesn't look like AK to me either.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

That's cuz u can't comprehend someone being dumb enough to raise AQ in MP1's position. I've seen it enough that a push here is definitely defendable.

You've definitely got a point there but I think the bet sizing gives away enough info in this case.

Given that villain only has 2k chips to start then his RR isn't that weird. The fact that you have AK here alone is enough for me to shove, on top of the 600 chips already in the pot.

Very rarely do I stray from my logic of "OMG I have AK I shove."

FWIW, yesterday I got min-4-bet by an UTG raiser, I just called with AK and I stacked him on an A-high flop.

Ha, I forgot to mention he had AT. That was kind of an important part of my post that I left out.
