Default $6.5 - AK, bad flop to cbet?

    How is this?
    No reads.
I did not cbet because the board is so connected.

WTF are you doing playing $6.50s?

I would c-bet on this flop - it actually isn't a total bluff because you have two overcards.

I use this line a lot (regardless of hitting K on turn). Not sure if its the most EV line though, cant get a good read on best play here.

I don't usually cbet there - they all have "he's bluffing" syndrome and will call because "ppssshhh, as if he's got a high pair". Honestly, at 6.50 I mostly just play my cards. Especially at the low blind levels.

You're losing value if you only play your cards post-flop at low blind levels. C-betting should be a staple of your game at all blind levels, however that doesnt mean c-betting 100% is right either.

Obviously it is dependent on reads and flop texture, but as a general principle I am c-betting the majority of the time when I have raised preflop.

Certainly on this board when we have a) overcards and b) backdoor flush possibilities I am usually c-betting.

Yeah, I usually c-bet. I'm usually looking for flops with one high card though.

My reasoning for not c-betting here is that, even though a c-bet here is definitely +chip ev, I'm looking for even clearer +ev choices before I take a risk in the early levels. Those chips are just crucial for fold equity in the middle stages.
