    the entire MTV unplugged album is great imo.. but only half is actual Nirvana...

    meh choice, especially if you were a teen or older in the 90s while they killed half the songs. If you've never heard it it's good.

    Go with Muddy Banks if you want live.

    boost - Nirvana is the kind of band buying songs doesn't make sense and I strongly recommend whole albums (they do not have any duds, the early stuff is punk-ier) instead but:

    School
    Negative Creep
    Sliver
    Polly
    Something in the way
    On a Plain
    Serve the Servants
    Rape Me
    Dumb

    should get you going
