    Default $3r Shove over hand

Sorry for some reason my hud messes up my hh and i cant get it till the next day (weird?). Pretty easy situation to explain
    $3 rebuy and add-on
    5.5k entrants. 1k left. 800 paid.
Full table Blinds 500/1000 100 Ante
all folds to the CO w/ 50k he raises to 3k
Im on the BU w/ KJ and about 15k i shove over

Villian opened often from late position w/ what seemed like positional steals . I have a decent amount of Fold Equity here , so is the play fine? Prob. pretty standard situation but I'm pretty new to MTT play. My image is pretty tight , and this is the first time i've came over top someone's raise preflop since the rebuy hour.

Meh actually he's getting close to 2:1 on the call , but given i figure I'm ahead of his CO opening range or at worst a flip or 60/40 dog than i gotta make a move sometime , or no?

I don't think this is great but you can prob get away with it because people in these small-stakes MTT's love to fold. Whether or not you're suited makes a huge difference here by the way. If you give him a calling range of 55+, AT+ then you might want to open up PokerStove and see how well different hands do vs. that range, those hands are the ones you should be most likely to re-steal with.

Edit: you are most definitely NOT ahead of his opening range.

when you say ahead of opening "range".

you mean that we are ahead in the hand more than 50% of the time before the flop.

like if villains range is 55+ KJ+ AT+.... then KJ is basicaly behind every single one of those hands.

BUT if villains range is top 50% of all hands.... then KJ is "ahead" of his range.

thats what you mean by being "ahead" of villains range right?
