    Default 99 flops overpair ($27)

SB is a winning player, stats are kind of irrelevant but suffice to say he plays classic ABC SNG poker. Button is a grade A donkey, he has played every single hand up to now.

How is this line? Does anybody raise the flop? Remember SB is a winning player.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG (t1470)
    UTG+1 (t1430)
    MP1 (t1430)
    MP2 (t1330)
    CO (t1550)
    Button (t2900)
    SB (t1440)
    Hero (t1950)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 9.
2 folds, MP1 calls t20, 1 fold, CO calls t20, Button calls t20, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: (t100) 7, 8, 3 (5 players)
SB bets t60, Hero calls t60, MP1 folds, CO folds, Button calls t60.

    Turn: (t280) 5 (3 players)
SB bets t100, Hero calls t100, Button calls t100.

    River: (t580) 3 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

    absolutely fine IMO

Im ok with the flop and turn since SB is a winning reg. River is close but I think I'd bet around 200 since you now have the best 2 pair possible (assuming no one has TT+). I'll take my chances that button doesnt have 69 or 3x...I want value from 8x and 7x

river check is giving away money, I guess you can raise the flop instead but one or the other. Raising flop is not great against SB but it may be worth it to get pot heads up.

Raise preflop about 120, everyone limped preflop, the pot is 5 way, you lose a lot of your 99 value playing it the same way as 22, you probably have the best hand preflop.
As played I would play the same way, I would not reraise this flop in a 5 way pot OOP

    I play it the same.
TLR: Not to hijack another thread with disagreements of MED PP , but raising this OOB , bloating the pot (since most limpers , limp/call) and having to play the rest of the hand OOP doesn't seem like a good idea at all IMO. I can see a raise if it's 3 limpers to you on the BU since we get to play the hand in position (although i would limp behind) .

W/ 3 limpers to me i check pretty much everything besides JJ+ here.

for once i agree with you

in case no one picked it up the 3 on the river means we are now beating 87, 85, 75

the only thing Id be worried about is if button has 69. Its pretty rare for button have to 3x and since SB plays ABC poker the check is not from a hand that beats you.

I think I agree, I lost value by checking the river.
