dont limp/call AJo UTG. Just....don´t, AJo sucks so bad when ur likely to be OOP. If u decide to play it, raise it up in the first place.

As played get it in, u got very very lucky.

Yeah, I'll often toss it, but if I can limp UTG +1 and get a chance to flop broadway, etc.. I have no problem throwing in a quarter. The guys line seemed very weak and I didn't think he had overpair to the flop. Also, at these stakes, if you limp early position with AJ, AQ, late position will usually open with Ax and you can often see them down pretty cheap and have the best hand on A high flop, but being willing to get rid of it if you seem beat is of course crucial as well.

That's not a good justification for playing AJo on a limp/call. Just open raise if you're going to play it.

    As played, gg luckbox.

Yeah, as I reread it sounds borderline at best.

Are you just open folding? Raising?

The stakes are throwing me off a bit, Its what I'm rolled for but the amounts seems so small in absolute sense I'm more inclined to see some flops I wouldn't at larger stakes - working on this leak.

Ya it's a mixture of folding and raising, with a lot more times folding than raising IMO. Depends on table dynamics and your image etc. Eg if I've been open raising a lot of pots recently and I'm dealt AJo in MP even, I'll often be folding if I think that I'm going to get tons of business when I'm OOP.

I don't know if you meant it like I took it, but this seems like a bad way of thinking. You cant look at it as a quarter you are throwing in, it is 1bb that you are throwing in.

Otherwise you can get in the mindset of 'oh it is just a quarter, who the hell cares' and limp every hand. cause really, its just a quarter.

You are right. I mentioned that above and am aware of the problem. I don't do this all the time or limp way too much, but probably a little too often. My VPIP is in the low 20's but I play more 6 max.
