 Overcards on the flop
I find this situation comes up quite a lot and i've never been quite sure what the optimum play is. This is hypothetical but hopefully you get my gist.
Say i'm mid position with a reasonable stack and its six handed. I pick up AQ and raise it 3xBB with the blinds at 50/100 (or 4xBB which seems to be the current fad). I get a call, and the flop comes undercards. I check and someone bets weak. What size bet can I call here if I think they have missed as well so that i'm still getting the right price to hit my overcards (assuming that will put me ahead)? I sort of work to about 1/3rd of the pot as long as I can afford it but i'm sure there is a general rule here...
